Dr. Handel offers patients the expertise that can only come with top-tier training, more than 30 years of experience performing thousands of surgical procedures including but not limited to breast augmentation, liposuction and rhinoplasty. Dr Handel has a genuine passion for helping every patient achieve their individual, realistic goals.
Dr. Handel has published more than 50 articles and 8 textbook chapters on plastic surgery, and he teaches in the Division of Plastic Surgery at UCLA Medical School, where he is an associate clinical professor. He is frequently featured in the media and regularly invited to speak at national and international plastic surgery meetings. For 17 years, he served as the associate medical director and senior plastic surgeon of the internationally reknowned Breast Center in Van Nuys, CA.
